Bhaskar Bharti, next to go

Only yesterday we reported on Ladies Special going off air, now we hear Sony is pulling off Bhaskar Bharti too. It is meeting its end on December 17. Bhaskar Bharti and Ladies Special were among the shows launched with much fanfare this May, when the channel went for a revamp. Now that the channel is planning a makeover yet again, it has decided to wash hands off Bhaskar Bharti, Ladies Special and possibly a couple of more shows. Ragini Khanna who plays the lead confirmed the news and said, “Please,don’t ask me the reason because even I don’t know it.” She adds, “I have given my 1000 percent to Bhaskar Bharti and have done my bit for the show. It’s the channel’s call to decide its fate. I am just an actor.” Ragini is upset about the show going off-air because the role was very challenging and different from others. But she is putting her best foot forward and is now looking for many other interesting offers she has received. She says, “I am very progressive and I don’t want to waste time thinking what went wrong. There is no point thinking about it and I want to move forward now.” The girl was so committed to Bhaskar Bharti that she refused many other meaty roles. She says, “I want to do different roles and have received many offers too. I just hope that God makes me choose the best out of them.” Producer Tony Singh remained unavailable.
