Well, Bhavya Gandhi is one kid that deserves a pat on the back. Bhavya aka Tappu of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has turned into a philanthropist. He will soon be going to Gujarat to prevent kids of Genius English Medium School from committing suicide.
Yes, you read it right. Here’s the real story. Genius English Medium School, which has a hostel as well, has been facing issue of its students committing suicide from the past few months. According to a report given by the school authorities to Bhavya and his family, approximately ten students have committed suicide due to excessive study pressure.
Hence, the school has decided to organize a program for the kids wherein Bhavya will address them. The authorities believe that Bhavya will be a role model for the kids as he has aptly managed to balance acting and academics.
Furthermore, Bhavya’s parents initially were apprehensive to send their son to Gujarat as they were doubtful about the credibility of the news. “Bhavya’s parents agreed after doing a through research on the school. Producer of Taarak… Asit Modi also helped them in the process,” informs a close source from the sets of the show.
The actor will be leaving for the event on 20 November 2011 around 5:30 pm. The program is scheduled on the same night at Rajkot. He will return the next day. Bhavya’s mother and producer Asit Modi will be accompanying the little star.
“I will try explaining the kids the importance of studying. I will also talk on how I manage my work and study,” says Bhavya.
Way to go, Bhavya. Tellychakkar.com is proud of you!!!
