Bhoomi fails to impress Ansu Baa in the kitchen in Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki

Colors’ Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki is presently witnessing the manner in which the foreign-bred Bhoomi (Shamin Mannan) is adjusting herself into the joint family of her husband Kishan (Jay Soni). The girl has to go through the nine agnipareekshas of Ansu Baa (Aruna Irani) to prove herself as the worthy daughter-in-law of the house. Bhoomi has failed in her first agnipareeksha which was that to recite ‘Kishen Stuti’. Now, she is asked to do the ‘Haveli Puja’ wherein she has to do quite a lot of chores. Since Bhoomi is unwell, she is not able to complete the task and faints in between. Then will come the third task, which is to make Khichda (her first dish) for all in the family. Like always, Kishan and few others in the family try to help her out in a smart manner. However, when Ansu Baa takes the first spoon of Khichda, it will be revealed that the dish made is tasteless. Baa further taunts Bhoomi saying that she has failed in yet another exam of hers. As a result of this, the entire family has to go through the night without eating anything. Bhoomi is frustrated and sad on hearing this. When contacted, Shamin Mannan aka Bhoomi told us, “Yes, Bhoomi is going through a lot at the moment. She is given tasks that she has never heard of. First came the Kishen Stuti which she could not completely recite. In the Haveli Puja that she was to do, she does not have bath initially as the water is cold and she is unwell. However, Ansu Baa asks her to have bath and then perform the puja and cold water is poured over her. This particular scene was tough to shoot as well for me, as there were quite a lot of close-ups that I had to give being wet. The third task I believe, is where Bhoomi is asked to cook her first dish. However, I do not know much about it.” When will Bhoomi be able to win over the confidence of Ansu Baa?
