Big Magic's Akbar Birbal to air special series; Rohit Khurana roped in

The talented Rohit Khurana is all set to be a part of Big Magic’s Akbar Birbal (Sagar Pictures) and he will be seen in a very interesting avatar. Akbar Birbal will see a change in format (in the coming week) in its special Maha Saturday episodes. Earlier the maha sequences saw celebs coming in and now viewers will see some interesting cases being solved by the prominent lead characters.

Rohit’s character along with Birbal (Vishal Kotian) will solve some mysterious cases.

When we called Rohit he said, “Talks are on but nothing has been confirmed at the moment.”

Along with Rohit and Vishal, Kishwer Merchantt (Anarkali) and Anoop Singh Thakur (Mulla Do Pyaza) will also be a part of the special series.

When we buzzed Kishwer she said, “The Saturday special episodes have received tremendous response and thus we will bring something fresh and interesting again. Although I don’t have too much clarity on the format, I can assure that it is going to be a fun ride for sure.”
