MUMBAI: Renowned television actress and Bigg Boss Season 11 fame, Bandgee Kallra, recently faced a harrowing ordeal after returning home to find her residence ransacked in a shocking burglary incident.
The actress, who enjoys a considerable fan following, has spoken out about the traumatic experience and expressed deep disappointment over the alleged apathy of the authorities.
In a series of emotional posts shared on social media, Bandgee revealed that her house had been broken into while she was away attending her sister’s wedding.

According to her statement, not only were a significant amount of cash and personal belongings stolen, but the intruders also vandalised her home extensively. Even her home surveillance camera and its SD card were reportedly taken.
“Came home yesterday to my house broken in by thefts and brutally destroyed from inside out… So many personal things, money etc. are lost and because it was my sister’s wedding I had huge cash kept at home,” she wrote. “My house camera with SD is stolen too and two gates were broken, not one, and nobody has a clue!”
Bandgee didn’t hold back as she criticised the local authorities, accusing them of being indifferent and slow to act even after she lodged an official complaint. “Our system is so weak and lethargic that they are chilling and having dinner, instead of taking action,” she stated, adding that she intends to share a video detailing her experience once she feels mentally ready.
Despite reporting the crime over 30 hours ago, the actress claims there has been no tangible progress in the investigation. She voiced her frustration, saying, “I have never felt this helpless! The way things are going or rather, not going I now have serious doubts about their work ethic and authenticity. It is becoming increasingly obvious that they are brushing this matter under the carpet.”
Concluding her post on a sombre note, Bandgee expressed her growing disillusionment with the system. “I am highly disappointed in our system.
I always knew it was flawed, but now I am experiencing it first-hand. And then people ask why one wants to move out of India? It’s been almost 30 hours since I notified about the theft!”
The incident has left Bandgee shaken and disheartened. Her candid account has struck a chord with many fans and fellow citizens who are calling for swift justice and stronger security measures.
One can only hope that the culprits are swiftly apprehended and that the actress receives the justice she seeks.
