MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 14 will go on air soon. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to keep the audience curious about the controversial reality show. The show had a grand virtual launch recently. BB14 will have short format for a while this season. It will be telecast for half an hour on weekdays.

Pinkvilla reports that this decision has been taken because of the ongoing IPL. However, there is good news. It will return to its original hourly format after just a month. “The makers have chosen a shorter format this time because of the ongoing IPL season. Unlike other years, the COVID outbreak caused a postponement in the IPL dates and with the tournament being played out right now, the TRPs won't be as high as they expect it to be. But this is just for a month. After around a month, they will get back to the old 1-hour slot,” the source was quoted saying.
