MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan, has once again managed to grab the audience's attention with its high-voltage drama and unique twists.
The introduction of innovative elements like the 'Time of God' role, which adds a strategic layer equivalent to being the captain of the house, has certainly kept things fresh and engaging this season.
The contestants have brought their A-game, with Karanveer Mehra emerging as a fan favorite for his strength and gameplay, while Avinash Mishra and Vivian Dsena have been stirring conversations both inside and outside the house.
With alliances, rivalries, and emotional moments unfolding, the show continues to be the ultimate guilty pleasure for its massive fanbase.
The entire house wanted Chum to be the new Time God, but as we saw in the last two episodes, only Edin and Kashish backed Shrutika Arjun, who was made the new Time God of the household. Karanveer's gang also supported her.
She kept claiming that it didn't matter if Chum or she became the new Time God of the house because it would save their group, and she was seen planning and conspiring with Edin and Kashish during the Time God task.
In yesterday's episode, Bigg Boss showed Avinash, Karanveer, and Chum clips of Shrutika planning and plotting to become the house's new Time God, and how Chum was not her priority.
She had promised Chum that during the nominations, she would prioritize Chum first, followed by Karanveer, Shilpa, Digvijay, Edin, and Kashish, but she assured Edin and Kashish that they would come after Chum.
This was done to show Chum the truth so that she could begin to play the game and grasp Shrutika's game, including how she is using Chum for the assignment and staying in the game.
Avinash was shown explaining to Chum that Shrutika was playing for herself and that Chum was never her first goal in becoming the new Time God; if she didn't mind Chum being the Time God, she should have let her do so because the majority of the housemates wanted her.
But Chum refused to accept the truth and prioritized their relationship over the game, despite Avinash's efforts to make her understand. He believes Shrutika will make it to the finale and Chum would be ousted from the show.
When Chum approached Shrutika, she stated that she felt awful after seeing the clip, but she recognizes that she wanted to become the show's new Time God, which is good, and that she should have simply been honest.
The netizens also feel horrible for Chum because they believe she does not understand the game and prioritizes friendship above competition, but Srutika does not, and Chum may be removed before the final round as a result.
Some also feel that the way Avinash made her understand it was clear but she is denial as she cannot accept the fact that Shrutika will backstab her and the group and this will cost her the show for sure.

Kabir Khanna: Why is Chum doing this I really feel bad for her, she takes Shrutika as her friend but Shrutika doesn’t she is only playing the game and securing herself in the finale, I really feel bad for Chum as she cannot see this and is ruining her game which is not right. It’s already too late and if she doesn’t buckle up she would be eliminated from the show and wouldn’t make it to the finale of the show when she deserves to be there. Priya Oberio: Shrutika is the sharpest player in the game, and I have a feeling she will not support Chum either, which will be a wake-up call for her because she is in denial and refuses to face the idea that Shrutika can backstab her. Chum did nothing when the clips were broadcast and the incident was over, expressing only that she understood Shurtika. Despite Avinash's attempts to show her the truth, she refused to believe.
Well, clearly even the audience feel that Chum needs to understand the game and not be blinded in friendship.
