MUMBAI: Bigg Boss has long held its place as one of the most popular and widely watched reality shows on Indian television. Known for its drama, controversies, and unforgettable moments, the show has not only captivated audiences but also given its contestants immense recognition and fan following.
Among the many seasons that made a lasting impression, Season 7 stands out as one of the most talked-about editions. The season crowned Gauahar Khan as the winner, with Tanishaa Mukerji finishing as the runner-up. The show was filled with intense rivalries, emotional bonds, and moments that sparked headlines across the country.
One of the major highlights of the season was the constant friction between Gauahar Khan, Tanishaa Mukerji, and Kushal Tandon. Season 7 also witnessed several tense moments with host Salman Khan, who didn’t hold back in reprimanding contestants like Kushal, Gauahar, Armaan, and Ejaz Khan. Despite the confrontations, the contestants faced the criticism with grace and handled the pressure well.
Kushal Tandon, one of the most dynamic and vocal contestants of the season, found himself at the centre of several controversies. His growing bond with Gauahar Khan and a major confrontation with fellow housemate Andy Kumar kept him in the spotlight. However, the most dramatic moment came when he attempted to flee the Bigg Boss house.
This shocking incident unfolded following a heated argument with Tanishaa Mukerji during a task, during which she allegedly pushed him. Demanding an apology, Kushal grew increasingly agitated when his demand was dismissed. As tensions rose, other housemates urged Bigg Boss to intervene and bring Kushal into the confession room. However, in a moment of rebellion, Kushal defied house rules and attempted to climb the wall and exit the premises.
Bigg Boss eventually intervened and managed to calm him down, though he expressed strong disappointment over Kushal’s behaviour. Tanishaa, too, was reprimanded for her actions. As a consequence, both Kushal and Tanishaa were penalised and nominated for eviction that week.
