Bigg Boss is a vulgar show - Ranjeet

Ranjeet
While Bigg Boss may be a source of entertainment for many, yesteryear villain Ranjeet finds the controversial reality show 'vulgar'. And that is one of the main reasons why he would never be a part of it ever. The producers (Endemol India) had approached the actor last year and offered pots of money to entice him but Ranjeet was steadfastly in his decision and refused to be a part of the house. Voicing his thoughts on Bigg Boss, Ranjeet when asked said, "I would never like to be a part of Bigg Boss because I find it vulgar. The happenings inside the house are not to my liking." Elaborating on what he finds vulgar, Ranjeet said, "I haven't seen the current season (season 8) yet but whatever used to happen last year and in the previous seasons like the ugly fights between contestants and their behaviour inside the house used to make me uncomfortable as a viewer. They (Producers) offered me a lot of money last year to join them as they wanted to increase the 'sex appeal' with my onscreen image. But I am not thirsty for money. So I refused." Though Ranjeet became notorious as a rape specialist onscreen, the actor hates double meaning dialogues and other sex-laced films. "The reason why I left films was because a lot of scripts had double meaning dialogues which I didn't like. Hence I thought it better to not do such films," said Ranjeet. Well, looks like controversy is not every actor's cup of tea. Bigg Boss airs on Colors.
