Hey readers, here is a piece of information for the viewers of Aakash Aath’s “Ek Maasher Galpo”.
After Prafulla Roy’s ‘Ekhane Pinjar’, the channel is all geared up to turn Bimal Kar’s ‘Basanta Bilap’ into a serial, which is set against the backdrop of life in hostel (mess).
This light-hearted story with comic elements is being directed by Debidas Bhattacharya.
Speaking about the project, Bhattacharya quipped, “A movie has earlier been made on this tale. It is a very old story and every Bengali is familiar with it.”
“We have brought minor changes in the story like instead of Saraswati Puja we are portraying Durga Puja in one of the track. We zeroed in on this Puja as the serial will be screened during the same time,” added the director.
Actors like Dulal Lahiri, Sougata Sarkar, Geetashri Roy, Arnab Banerjee, Piyali Basu and Rimlee Sanyal are part of this project.
The shooting of the serial has started and will be aired from 1st October.
