Tellychakkar has often been the first one to break the news about upcoming shows and actors cast in them. This time we are back with an interesting update about the most adored show Barrister Babu.
It was earlier confirmed that Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega fame Kanika Mann and Ishq Subhanallah's Tunisha Sharma were in talks for Bondita's role post the much-awaited leap by Shashi Sumeet Production. Later, Kanika Mann had denied taking up the offer as she chose an OTT Project and a few more names including Tunisha were dropped by the production.
While they have been looking out for the perfect fit; a little birdie updated that Naagin fame Adaa Khan has also been approached by Shashi Sumeet Productions for Bondita's role post the leap. It would be interesting to see if she agrees to the role and how will Adaa mould into the character that has been highly admired.
Due to the second wave of the COVID-19, the shoot was on hold, instead, they continued with the present track with Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni and Pravisht Mishra.
To keep the thrill alive, makers introduced the new track with Sadiya Siddiqui as Thakkumaa, till they get permission from the Maharashtra government to resume shooting for the leap.
