Celebrate Diwali With The Artists From Star Plus Shows, Who Give An Insight To How They Intend To Celebrate Diwali This Year!

Mohit

MUMBAI: There is a lot of zeal around the celebration of the festival of lights, Diwali. Along with their families, artists from the Star Plus shows are eager to partake in the celebrations. Diwali instills joy and optimism again. It signifies the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. The actors give us insights about their Diwali celebrations-

Mohit Malik, Kunal from the Star Plus show Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, shares, "I will be celebrating Diwali with my family and friends; it is a great time to instill knowledge in my son Ekbir. We will decorate the house and light it up with lights. There are loads of Diwali memories, from bursting crackers to spending time with my family in Delhi. I bursted crackers back then, but now I refrain from using fire crackers and would like to request everyone not to burst crackers in order to keep the environment safe. Please say no to crackers, keeping in mind the concern for air quality in Mumbai. Happy Diwali to everyone!"

Harsh Rajput and Rumi from the Star Plus show Teri Meri Doriyaann shares, "We have a Diwali tradition; all the relatives come together under one roof in our home town of Navsaari and celebrate the festivities there. I wish everyone love, light, good health, and wealth. Be safe, refrain from using fire crackers, and have a happy and prosperous Diwali."

Shagun Sharma, Kaashvi from the Star Plus show Yeh Hai Chahatein, shares, "I will celebrate Diwali with my family and friends; we will visit the temple and seek blessings from God; and if I am shooting, I will celebrate the festivities with my reel family on the sets. My favourite childhood memory of Diwali would be my brother and I having a cracker-bursting competition, but now I would recommend not using fire crackers, keeping the environment pollution-free, and not harming the pets as they get affected by the fire crackers. Have a safe and happy Diwali."

Jatin Arora from the Star Plus show Teri Meri Dooriyaan shares, "This year I am going to be in Mumbai; I’m surely going to miss my family, but I do have my extended family here with me, so that’s a reason for some excitement and to celebrate Diwali with them. My first memory of Diwali is of the night-blooming jasmine flowers (raat ki rani), which used to bloom every year around Diwali, and then of the huge rangolis that we used to make for the competition in my neighbourhood. I just want the fans to feel the love that this festival brings and spread it even more. Dress up, dance, enjoy, and have a happy Diwali."
