Check out popular television jodis who dislike each other in real-life

A lot of television stars share a beautiful chemistry on-screen but prefer not to talk to each other in real life.

MUMBAI: Indian television has seen a lot of popular actors and actresses who have won several hearts with their onscreen performance. In fact, they went on to be the viewers' favourite pair. 

While these celebrity jodis were adored onscreen but many of them didn't share the same rapport off-screen. 

It just goes to show what amazing actors and professionals must be to play such convincing couples despite their animosity.

Let's take a look:

1. Hina Khan and Karan Mehra 

The duo is still remembered as Akshara and Naitik from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Karan and Hina's jodi became a huge hit, however, their real-life bond was exactly the opposite. The duo's rapport changed with time and they completely avoided each other on the set. 

2. Preetika Rao and Harshad Arora

The couple rose to fame with their show Beintehaan. Reports suggested that they never interacted with each other on the set. The two quickly shot for their scenes and headed to their own ways without speaking to each other.  

3. Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan

The jodi who became a household name from Kasautii Zindagii Kay shared a not-so-happy bond in real life. However, the duo kept things professional and continued working leaving aside their differences.

4. Sidharth Shukla and Toral Rasputra

Shiv and Anandi's onscreen pairing made everyone go aww but the duo was not on talking terms in real life. Something went wrong between them during an outdoor shoot which made things complicated between them. 

5. Simran Kaur and Mudit Nayar

The couple played the lead role in the show Anamika who looked fabulous on-screen but avoided each other in real life. Simran, who is an introvert, didn't try and make friends with Mudit and apparently acted like a diva, which put Mudit off.

6. Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid 

Everything was going well between the lead pair of Star Plus' show Diya Aur Baati Hum but things changed between them within a blink of an eye. There were reports about Deepika slapping Anas on the sets for inappropriately touching her.   

7. Drashti Dhami and Vivian Dsena

The popular couple of Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon made everyone go gaga over their magical chemistry. However, both could not see stand each other. Especially when Vivian quit and returned, the war intensified.

8. Sonarika Bhadoria and Mohit Raina 

Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev pair mesmerised the viewers with their on-screen magical performance. However, things got so awkward between them that Sonarika had to be replaced. No one knows what happened between Mohit and Sonarika.

9. Paridhi Sharma and Rajat Tokas 

They were once a hit pair of the small screen in the show Jodhaa Akbar. Reportedly, Rajat felt that he was superior and senior to Paridhi and thus, the duo shared cold vibes and avoided talking to each other.

10. Rati Pandey and Sumit Vats

Rati and Sumit played the lead in Hitler Didi. Reportedly, Rati found Sumit irritating and preferred to keep a distance. Sumit, on the other hand, Sumit never spoke about this perhaps suggesting he was fine with the distance too.

11. Sanaya Irani and Farhan Khan

Farhan had quit Chhanchhan blaming Sanaya's cold and non-supportive' behaviour. Sanaya and Farhan never go along and things turned worse when Sanaya angrily retorted to his allegations.

12. Ankita Sharma and Navi Bangu

The leads pair of Amrit Manthan too shared cold vibes in real life in spite of sharing a sizzling chemistry on-screen. Nothing is clear about their tiff but apparently, Navi's Haryanvi attitude is the reason behind it. The actor also apparently accused Ankita of being manly.
