MUMBAI: Arjun Bijlani is an Indian television and film actor. 

He hails from a Mumbai-based Sindhi family. Arjun completed his schooling from Bombay Scottish School (Mahim) and his graduation from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. 

 His debut television show was Balaji Telefilms show Kartika, which was telecasted on Hungama TV. Arjun co-starred as the lead-male, opposite to actress Jennifer Winget. He bagged his first lead role right as his debutant role.

For the unversed, he got married to his long-time girlfriend - Neha Swami on 20th May, 2013. Not many know that Neha hails from Lucknow and she is the niece of actress Deepti Bhatnagar. 

Two years later, the duo welcomed their son Ayaan Bijlani to their lives and embarked upon parenthood for the first time on 21st January, 2015.

As a doting father, a loving husband and a talented actor, Arjun is grounded by nature and shares his responsibilities whenever he is at home.

Arjun is quite religious in real life, such that he pays a visit to the Siddhi Vinayak Temple, whenever he gets time (at least once in a week).

Arjun Bijlani is both a fitness freak and likes to read and watch movies. He had also debuted in a Bollywood movie called Direct Ishq.

1. Left Right Right

Bijlani bagged his first break-through role with the action-based television drama Left Right Left, that aired on SAB TV. In this show, Arjun played the role of Cadet Aalekh Sharma and gained immense household fame for the same. The series had 2 seasons and it aired from 10 July 2006 - 26 September 2008. The show's plot revolved around the lives of 6 junior army cadets and Arjun played the role of one of the Cadets. 

2. Miley Jab Hum Tum

This show is an Indian teen-drama television series that aired on STAR One from 22 September 2008 to 19 November 2010. The show is all about college romance amid freshers and developing relations for a lifetime. It starred Mohit Sehgal, Sanaya Irani, Rati Pandey and Arjun Bijlani in the lead roles and other actors like Navina Bole, Abhishek Sharma, Jaskaran Singh and Nishant Singh Malkani in supporting roles. Arjun played the role of Mayank Sharma, a nerd who falls for a fun-loving girl. This was his first show as a leading actor which received high TRPs.

3. Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi

This Indian soap opera premiered on 24 June 2014 on Colors TV and was loosely based on the British novel 'Wuthering Heights' by Emily Bronte. The show is produced by Ekta Kapoor and it starred Shakti Arora and Radhika Madan in the lead roles. Arjun played the poignant role of Shikhar Mehra, who was a lawyer by profession and a casanova yet a positive guy, who fell for Ishani. However, the actor had to quit the show in August 2015 for Naagin.

4. Naagin

In September 2015, he bagged Balaji Telefilms' thriller and supernatural show Naagin, opposite Mouni Roy. The show aired on Colors TV. Herein, he portrayed the role of a suave and ambitious tycoon named Ritik Singh who disregarded the importance of romance and religion in one's life, which underwent a huge transformation after his beliefs were challenged by Roy's character Shivanya, once they came face-to-face. The show proved to be a turning point in his career as it received super-high TRPs. It ended on 5th June 2016.

5. Kavach...

This was a supernatural horror drama television series that airs on Colors TV. Produced by Balaji Telefilms, it is based on the story of Savitri and Satyavan. The first season titled Kavach... Kali Shaktiyon Se premiered on 11 June 2016 and starred Mona Singh, Vivek Dahiya and Sara Khan as Paridhi, Rajbeer and Manjulika. The first season ended on 20 November 2016. The second season titled Kavach... Maha Shivratri premiered on 25 May 2019, starring Deepika Singh, Namik Paul and Vin Rana as Sandhya, Angad and Kapil. Arjun played the role of a genie in Season 1 and was noted for his supporting role.

6. Ishq Mein Marjawan

In September 2017, Bijlani signed-up for Ishq Mein Marjawan, which aired on Colors TV. This was an Indian romantic-thriller television series, which aired from 20 September 2017 to 28 June 2019 on Colors TV. Arjun co-starred with actresses Aalisha Panwar, Nia Sharma and Sonarika Bhadoria herein and played the character of Deep Raj Singh. The show received good TRPs and ended in June 2019.
