MUMBAI:Indian television shows have been a part of the audience's daily lives for a long time now. Over time, the type and platform of content changed a lot but people still wish to go back to television dramas and call it their comfort zone.

There have been shows which have been loved and have crossed the 10 years mark. Here are the names: 

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

This is one of the most beloved shows on Indian television. It is immensely loved by the audience and has been making them laugh since 2008. The plot revolves around the residents of a housing society helping each other find solutions when they face common, real-life challenges and get involved in sticky situations.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is a romantic drama that launched in 2009 and reached 3000 episodes in 2019. It previously starred Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Shivangi Joshi, and Mohsin Khan and is produced by Rajan Shahi under the banner Director's Kut Productions. It has Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda as the third generation currently.

CID

This is one show that almost every Indian has watched in their lifetime at least once. The references are still used from the show. ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Abhijeet are an elite trio of officers who work for the CID. They seek the help of professional forensic expert Dr. Salunkhe and solve various criminal cases. The show was on for good 20 long years. 

Khatron Ke Khiladi

It is one of the most loved stunt-based reality shows which has been on since 2007 with new seasons coming up every few months. It recently had its 12th season. Rohit Shetty has been the host since the 8th season and is highly loved in that position. 

Kaun Banega Crorepati 

One of the most beloved reality shows hosted by veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is Kaun Banega Crorepati. This has been his show ever since it began in 2000 and till now people love watching the show. In the show, the host asks a series of questions to several contestants to test their general knowledge and give them a chance to win a cash prize.

Crime Patrol

Crime Patrol is a show which showcases real-life crimes. It has been on since 2003 and people love watching it.  The host narrates several dramatized real-life crime cases revolving around harassment, kidnapping, and murder while also presenting re-enactments. 

Bigg Boss

Bigg Boss is an Indian reality television game show franchise based on the Dutch reality show Big Brother. It is one of the most-watched reality TV shows and people love it immensely. It premiered way back in 2006 with the 16th season going on currently.
