MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the television world.
The cast and crew of Colors’ Choti Sardarni (Cockcrow Productions and Shaika Films) faced a problematic situation recently.
A source from the sets of the show informed us that the shoot was halted for around 6 to 7 hours.
The source said, 'It seemed like a normal day for us this Tuesday (13th August) until people from Actors’ Union stopped the shoot, as a few junior artists did not have proper ID cards. The shooting was halted for around 6 to 7 hours.'
To compensate for the loss, the cast and crew have been asked to work a bit extra to deliver the episodes on time.
We contacted the actors of the show, but they remained unavailable for comment.
Choti Sardarni stars Avinesh Rekhi, Anita Raj, and Nimrit Kaur in pivotal roles. It also marks the comeback of veteran Bollywood actor Anita Raj.
Based in Amritsar, the show proves there is no greater warrior than a mother protecting her child. It showcases the multiple facets of the protagonist Meher. The concept is promising and comes with a powerful message.
Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
