MUMBAI: Mere Sai - Shraddha Aur Saburi actor Saurabh Shrikant took the nuptial vows in a private wedding ceremony.
He tied the knot with Apeksha Sathe, a corporate professional on May 28. The actor revealed, "Apeksha works in a corporate firm in Mumbai and we had an arranged marriage. Last year, we met through a matrimonial site and found each other compatible. We informed our families and after their approval, we decided to move ahead.".
It was an arranged marriage. They met through a matrimonial site and then their respective families took the lead.
Due to COVID-19, they introduced each other to their parents via video calls. Last year on 31st October, they got engaged in an intimate ceremony. He revealed, "Apeksha is from Mumbai while my parents stay in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh). I didn't want them to risk travelling to Mumbai, so I introduced them to Apeksha and her parents on a video call.".
He further added, “We met through a matrimonial site and found each other compatible. Due to the pandemic, initially, we pushed our marriage but then on 28th May, we took the plunge and exchanged vows in the presence of family members. Because of COVID restrictions, only 15 family members were invited.”.
Saurabh is currently playing the role of Tatya Kote Patil in Mere Sai - Shraddha Aur Saburi.
