MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt aka Sanju Baba will be seen as a special guest in the upcoming, ‘Ganpati Special’ episodes of Super Dancer - Chapter 4 this weekend. While Sanjay Dutt enjoyed and marveled all the performances put forward by the contestants, it was contestant Amit and super guru Amardeep’s performance that stole the limelight. The robotic routine on Sanjay Dutt’s romantic song, ‘Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai,’ from the 1981 film ‘Rocky’, evoked the judges and guest Sanjay Dutt to give a standing ovation amidst hollering‘kya baat hai!’
The performance was jaw dropping as Amit and Amardeep gave life to a romantic breezy song. An impressed Sanjay Dutt said, “Amit, you are a superstar! You danced so brilliantly. There was a passion in you!” He further added, “The whole concept was amazing, I didn’t expect robotics on this song at all. Kya yehi pyaar hai is a romantic song and you guys changed it and transported it to space. Fantastic!”
Judge Shilpa Shetty Kundra performed her ‘super se upar’ compliment in robotics style and said, “Amardeep, ajj jo sur laga hai, jo raag robotics laga hai aaj, kya baat hai! This was one of your best. Amit chamatkaar ho aap, aap seriously chamatkaar ho! You learned robotics in four months! Hai bhagwaan.”
Also, in honor of Sanjay Dutt requesting Amardeep to teach him the robotic dance form, hosts Rithvik Dhanjani and Paritosh Tripathi asked for an encore performance from Amardeep and Amit. After joining them in the act, Sanjay Dutt said, "dimag ki dahi ho gayi hai". This comment left everyone present on the sets in splits.
This weekend marks the announcement of Super 10 contestants who will go ahead as the competition progresses. Who from amongst the 13 contestants will be a part of Super 10?
