Contiloe all set to launch its new show, Phoolchand

Contiloe Entertainment has been producing path-breaking shows for years now. It wowed audiences with its recent historical saga, Veer Shivaji (Colors). Now, the production house is all set to launch another show which has been christened, Phoolchand. It will air on SAB TV. The story revolves around the life of a man, Phoolchand, who is a very good human being and always tends to help everyone around. But one way or another, he lands into some kind of trouble. Kunal Kumar, currently seen in Gutur Gu, has been roped in to play the lead, Phoolchand. And guess what? We have the entire star cast as well. Here it goes…Gajendra Chauhan will play Phoolchand’s father, Ritu Varshist will play his mother Lajwanti, Rajesh Balwani will be his cousin and Harpreet will be seen playing Phoolchand’s sister, Phoolwanti. Pilot episodes of the series are being shot currently and it is expected to go on floors in the coming months. When contacted producer Abhimanyu Singh of Contiloe, he said “It’s too early to talk about it. We will talk when the time is right.” When contacted Kunal Kumar, he stated, “I cannot comment anything as of now.” However, Ritu Varshist shared that she has been offered to play the role of a mother but she refrained from divulging any further.
