Contiloe to make another historical show for Zee

Makers of the popular historical show Jhansi Ki Rani are working hard on yet another historical show tentatively titled Alha Udal which will air on Zee TV. The production house has just started approaching actors to play the title role of these two warriors. A source says, "Alha Udal's story is very inspiring. Alha and Udal were very powerful Rajput generals. Our team has done lots of research on this topic. Even today in Bundelkhand locals recite poems that portray their bravery. We are still working on few details about this concept and Zee has also shown interest in this topic. If all goes well then soon we will begin our audition procedure. Both the channel and our team members are approaching known and unknown faces to play the title roles. However things will take some more time to get finalized and for actual work to start. The show is set in Madhya Pradesh so we may have to shoot few initial episodes there." Abhimanyu Singh from Contiloe confirms this and says, "It is too early to talk about this project." Alha and Udal were great soldiers, they worked under Raja Piramal of Mahoba. They fought with Prithviraj Chauhan and were said to be responsible for killing his son. Alha was immortal as goddess Durga has said to have given him a magical sword and super natural powers. He won the first war against Prithviraj and later after the second war he disappeared in the forests.
