MUMBAI: The popular TV actress Dalljiet Kaur has been in the news for her public dispute with her divorced husband, Nikhil Patel till now. It all began earlier in 2024 when, barely a year after her marriage, she traveled to Mumbai with her son, Jaydon. For the uninformed, Dalljiet got married to Nikhil in March 2023. She used her social media account to publicly reveal Nikhil's cheating a few months after returning to India.
When Nikhil issued a statement outlining his version of the incidents, Dalljiet and Nikhil's argument erupted once more. However, amid the legal battle, the actress has taken the opportunity on a fresh start.

She has left Mumbai to start a new chapter in her work and is making every effort to move on in her life with her son, Jaydon. Dalljiet said in an interview with the popular news portal that she will start her own food and travel vlog.
The actress added that she was able to get out of traveling a very dark room since traveling had given her newfound optimism. Dalljiet disclosed that although she was given an opportunity long ago, she was unable to accept it at the time. Now, when she's living out of a suitcase, is the ideal moment to take advantage of the chance.
She was quoted as saying, "Yes, I'm starting a new travel and food vlog. I felt that travel was the only way for me to finally step out of the darkroom I had been sitting in. Now it's travel with work. I was approached for this long time back, but I wasn't in the place to start something like this. Now that I am literally living out of a suitcase, I think it's the best time to make use of the displacement. I don't have a home, but now the world will be my home."
Furthermore, Dalljiet talked about how starting a travel and food vlog might be the beginning of her healing journey, and she might also find a bit of peace amidst the chaos. She also acknowledged her audience's love for her and shared a teaching by the Indian philosopher, Osho.
Dalljiet said, "I will travel and explore and hopefully find my peace in this chaos on the way with the audience who have been pouring their love and constantly telling me to start healing. So I have finally accepted this offer and from now on I’ll travel and earn. Osho (Indian philosopher) says when there is chaos and sadness all around, that is the best time we are forced to look inward. I think it’s time for me to find the inner peace and get my son out of this and not let him see this wound forever."
Dalljiet also shared a secret that she deliberately hides from her fans and well-wishers. The actress stated that she began "something else" five months ago and would make an announcement about it in approximately two months, however she did not provide many specifics.
On August 14, 2024, Dalljiet posted a photo of herself and her son Jaydon on Instagram, amid a never-ending flood of accusations. Jaydon was born into her marriage with Shalin Bhanot, her first husband. The mother-son pair was seen in the photo taking a selfie. The actress wrote that they were alright and shared the photo.
Dalljiet wrote, "We are Ok... Don't worry guys. Sorry can't answer everyone but just need to tell you all to keep us in your prayers. The worst is over."
Nikhil Patel eventually spoke up about the ongoing dispute with Dalljiet on August 13, 2024. He clarified that because he had not obtained an official divorce from his first wife, his marriage to the actress was not "legal." Nikhil further revealed that during phone calls, Dalljiet would verbally abuse him. Nikhil revealed in the same statement that he attempted to make amends with Dalljiet but it was unsuccessful.
Following Nikhil's statements, Dalljiet reacted angrily against the allegations. She highlighted that she was happy to be a housewife and have other sources of money, and that she was ready to move on from her famous status. In addition, Dalljiet discussed her husband's alleged extramarital activities and requested a response to the formal complaint she had filed against him.
