MUMBAI : Popular television actress Dalljiet Kaur's troubled marriage to her estranged spouse Nikhil Patel has been making headlines for a while. Netizens were drawn to the actress's recent social media post amid the ongoing divorce dispute.

She shared a photo of her engagement ring along with a cryptic note about erasing the truth. This is the day after she uploaded a photo of her mangal sutra.

Dalljiet Kaur shared a picture of a wall art of a star in the palm of a hand on her official Instagram account on Friday afternoon. In addition, she wrote, "Erase a wall, how do you erase a truth? Truth is NOT SO SUBTLE sadly."

She included a short clip of herself showing off her engagement ring on her finger and tapping a wine glass in the next post. With a suggestion of a countdown, she wrote, "Tik tok...tik tok."

These posts come after a day the actress took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of her mangalsutra.In this photo, Dalljiet was seen holding a mangalsutra in her hand with the engagement ring on her finger.

Speaking of Nikhil Patel and Dalljiet Kaur's marriage, they got married on March 10, 2023, in a private ceremony attended by their loved ones. Following their marriage, Dalljiet relocated to Kenya with him right away.

But in January, this year, she gave rise to speculation when she moved back to India with her son Jaydon. But her team issued a statement saying she is here for her mother's surgery.

Dalljiet has been posting cryptic messages about betrayal, marriage, and love over the past three weeks. She recently shared a video of her wedding, but she later removed it after receiving backlash from online users. She accused Nikhil of having an extramarital affair, which sparked a fight with him.

The Kenya-based businessman has provided an official statement that presents his version of facts. In addition to announcing their split, he took legal action against the Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon actress for sharing images and videos from their nuptials online without getting his consent.

For those who don't know, Dalljiet was previously married to Shalin Bhanot. However, the couple divorced in 2015 after the actress accused him of domestic violence in their relationship.
