MUMBAI: It was reported last month that Rupal Patel, who essays the character of 'Kokilaben Modi' in TV show Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2, will be seen exiting the show soon and put an end to her iconic character's periodic stint.
She was a part of her show's sequel to execute it's initial rhythmic kickstart.
Confirming the same to us in an exclusive interview, Rupal Patel had revealed that she will conclude her shooting post the 7th of November.
Now lately, our reliable sources confirm that Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi and Mohammad Nazim aka Ahem will also conclude their shooting by the end of this month.
After Rupal's exit from the show, the makers have decided to gradually fade away the Modi family and move ahead with the new leads, namely Sneha Jain aka Gehna and Harsh Nagar aka Anant.
The sequel of the show has received a good response by the audience and has managed to gain good TRPs so far.
However, it would be interesting to see if they get the same love after the exit of these popular and established characters.

Recently, Rupal Patel talks on her exit from the show.
"I have been working in the industry for many years but I have never done a show for one month. But when I was approached with the sequel of Saath Nibhana Saathiya, it was for one month only. And now, that a month is over, I will be making my exit from the show which was planned. I said yes for this small journey in SNS 2 only because it's my gratitude to all the fans of Kokilaben and Rupal Patel. I have received so much love from my audience especially for this character and the show that when makers came to me with this idea for joining and supporting them to uplift this it was my moral responsibility as a creative artist to say a yes for it.", she reveals.
Rupal, who acted in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya for eight long years till 2017 and then again came back to portray the same character in it's sequel, feels that the journey of her character finally ends here.
"An actor and a character have their own journey. I lived in Kokila for so many years but now I feel her journey completes here whereas Rupal Patel's journey as an actor continues. As Kokila I played a lot of relationships but now I feel as an artist I need to play more characters. Undoubtedly, Kokila has been one of the most iconic characters in the TV industry which have not only received love from the audience but also respect. And I am sure I will be receiving the same kind of love and respect for my future roles also.”, she concludes.
