Deven Bhojani's back with Mrs. Tendulkar on Sab!

The latest news is that makers of Khichdi are back with a new show on Sab TV. Mrs. Tendulkar by Hats Off will see the comeback of Deven Bhojani post Baa Bahu aur Baby 2. Says a source, “Kishori Godbole has been roped in to play the lead along with Deven. Hats Off is pitching for the prime time slot, but as the channel's prime time is already full, they have not yet confirmed the time slot to them. The show will be a daily. The channel has high hopes from the show.” Adds the source further, “The story is based on a colony, with various interesting characters in it. The cast includes Marathi theatre artists like Bharat Ganeshpure as Mr. Ramdas Pagare who works in a bank and is the senior most member of the staff. He is a self-declared leader of the group. Smita Saravade essays the role of his wife in the show, as Mrs. Kamal ‘Tai’ Pagare. Tai is the boss of Pagare household.” JD Majethia says, “This collaboration was always in the offing! SAB TV has the best shows in the family comedy genre and Hats Off has created a niche for itself in the entertainment sector. It sure is a winning combination, and we hope to put forward a good product for the viewers in the form of Mrs. Tendulkar.” Bhojani remained unavailable for comments.
