Did you know? Saumya Tandon had rejected Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain for THIS reason

MUMBAI : Saumya Tandon became a household name for her show Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, where she played the role of Anita Bhabhi. The actress was paired opposite Aasif Sheikh, who plays the role of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra. Saumya and Aasif's onscreen pairing received several accolades from the viewers. 

While Saumya hasn't done many daily soaps, she was extremely sceptical when she was offered Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai.  

The actress revealed in one of her interviews that she was not very sure if she wanted to do a daily soap as it is quite time-consuming.

Saumya reveals that she kept rejecting the offer for almost 6 months and instead requested the channel to offer her a non-fiction show as she wanted to host. 

However, the channel was keen on signing Saumya for Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. The actress gave a lot of thought as she wasn't willing to take up a typical drama series. But interestingly, the role which was offered to Saumya was quite different and interesting, which gave her a reason to take up. 

Well, we are glad Saumya took up the role and slayed it like a pro.
