Disha Vakani's level of enthusiasm surprises one and all at SAB Ki Filmy Holi

Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani in SAB Ki Filmy Holi
It’s Holi time folks! And to celebrate the occasion, SAB TV recently shot a special programme titled SAB Ki Filmy Holi for which Jethalal Gada (Dilip Joshi) and Daya Gada (Disha Vakani) of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah had to anchor. Apart from anchoring, the two also had to perform on a Bollywood number. And seeing them pretty tired after all the anchoring, the creatives decided to let the background dancers perform on fast-paced dance steps to lessen the burden on Dilip and Disha. However when Disha learnt about the same, she insisted on performing on the fast paced steps too. Her decision to perform turned out to be a matter of worry and concern, for not everyone knew that she would be able to execute it equal to her standard. But Disha surprised one and all with a superb dance performance. Confirming the same, her co-star Dilip said, “Both of us were supposed to anchor the programme and also do a dance performance as well. When Disha said that she wanted to do the difficult dance steps herself, I got worried initially as I was not sure if she could manage doing the same. She surprised the entire team by pulling it off perfectly well. Her enthusiasm rubbed on to me and we both gave a perfect performance in the event.” Though the shoot stretched on till late hours, both Dilip and Disha never fell short on energy and gave a splendid performance. The episode will air on 17 March (Monday) at 9 pm.
