MUMBAI: On an average millions of people come to Mumbai to reach the sky and shine bright. Some go the right way, some return empty handed while some struggle and manage to succeed. And what is the beauty of achieving something without even struggling or seeing the high and lows behind the success.

We see the glamorous versions of our actors but they have struggled to reach where they are today. Their fans look up to them as their role models but what the fans need to know and remember is that these celebrities have struggled hard, some even have moped floors, served food at joints, worked in MCS and what not. One such actor who has struggled a lot to rich great heights today is Dishank.

The handsome Delhi lad before working in TV shows and Bollywood films has worked in MC Donalds and in a MNC.

Dishank, who started his TV journey with Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, is currently wooing the audience by his acting in the Star Bharat's Jiji Maa.

One thing that his fans and not many know about the lad is that there is a big similarity between his first TV commercial and his first job.

Can you guess?

Dishank’s first TV commercial was of a Pizza delivery boy and his first job 10 years back was that of a MCD delivery guy.

Mopping floors, chopping vegetables, delivering food, clearing queries as a customer care executive, Dishank has done it all before dazzling like a star.

The actor recently shared a click that marks his journey from being a delivery boy in a PIzza delivery advertisement to a successful actor who is adored and loved by many.

In an interview with TellyChakkar, the actor talked about his journey and the short cuts people take to reach their goals.

He said, “I have always wanted to reach the heights and I struggled hard for this. I used to mimic my friends and from there I knew what my ultimate goal was.”

“In 2006 I participated in an International brand- Gess competition wherein 10 individuals (Male and female) were selected from each country to represent their nation and I was one out of 10 males form India to represent and to reach the top three,” he further shared.

Talking about his dream role, Dishank said, “For an actor each role is challenging and something new is in store to learn and I have surely learnt a lot from each of my character.”

Dishank, who has been a part of ALT Balaji’s web series Karrle Tu BHi Mohabbat, also spoke about how people take a shorter way to reach their goals.

“People see our success and feel reaching here is as easy as a snapping figure and hence come to the city of dream to be there where we are. But that is not the truth, even we have struggled a lot to reach this position,” said the actor.

He further added saying, “It’s then that they commute to easier ways no matter what the route is. It’s sad but true.”

He concluded stating, “They (strugglers) want to eat an apple but don’t really want to buy it. If it was as easy as things being served on their own placate then each one would have been richer.”

We totally agree with you, Dishank as one needs to work hard to become successful and achieve their dreams.
