Actress Divya Malik who played lead roles in Big Magic’s Jai Maa Vindhyavasini and Love Dosti Dua will be seen in an interesting role in an episodic story of Colors’ Code Red –Awaaz.
Produced by Sunshine Rise Productions, the story will depict the struggle of a UP based mentally challenged girl.
As per a reliable source, “Divya will play a 20 years old girl who would have the behavioural attributes of a 5 year old kid. Her life will be full of struggle as all the men who see her would try to exploit her situation. Ultimately, she will be raped by someone and what would happen to the girl will form the crux of the story.”
When contacted, Divya told us, “Yes, I have shot for an episodic of Code Red. It is a challenging role for me, as I play a mentally challenged character. The story is for viewers to watch.”
This episodic will be aired this weekend.
