MUMBAI: Star Plus show Do Dooni Pyaar has an unconventional storyline.
The show follows the journey of a girl named Ganga (played by Shivika Pathak). Ganga has been neglected by her family since childhood. By a twist of fate, she ends up marrying Abhay (played by Gourav Sharma), who comes from a wealthy and well-educated family. Isha Sandhir, who is famous for her role in Dear Jassi, a film which has smitten the content lovers across 15 film festivals and is now headed to the Oscars is an integral part of the show.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Isha to know more about her role and her experience shooting for the Hindi TV show which happens to be her debut.
Isha shared, “I have never done a Hindi television serial so my experience shooting for this is very different. It is very nice and I am enjoying doing something distinguished. I am getting to learn new things too.
What I like most about my character is that she is a girl of today’s generation and she speaks her mind out. She is educated, knows her rights and I can relate to this character very well as I am like that in real life.”
Speaking about her bond with her co-actors, Isha expressed, “Everybody is very good on the sets. Gourav Sharma and Goutam Sharma are also very nice and I have shared screen space with them in Dear Jassi too so there is a comfort zone there.
