Hardik Mehta is also a part of the project and now, in an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, he shared his experience shooting for a sequence of the show where he cross dressed.
Hardik shared, “It's truly been an incredible journey for me. I've completed 120 episodes of the show, and recently, I had to portray a female character for a few episodes, which was a very thrilling experience. Actually, I had to play the character of my friend Doree for some episodes. To be honest, I was quite nervous about how I, being a male, could play a female character. When I was told on set that I had to portray the female lead role of Doree for a few episodes, I initially refused and started crying. That's when my dad and the director sir explained to me and gave me the courage that I could do it.
We've seen many big actors play female characters while being male, but today, when I saw such a character myself, it was a very enjoyable experience. I always thank my dad who always gives me courage and trusts me.”
Well said Hardik! (Also Read: Exclusive: Doree is a dream come true for me: Hardik Mehta on his experience shooting for the Colors show!)
