MUMBAI: On Indian television, Kumkum Bhagya is one of the most adored daily soaps. Since its debut in 2014, the show has captivated a sizable audience that carefully follows each episode. Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia, who played the parts of Pragya and Abhi in the program for a while, were the show's original stars.

Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chaphekar were in the show after their segment came to an end due to the introduction of a 20-year generational leap. According to rumors, Kumkum Bhagya's creators have chosen to bring a new generational leap.

According to a source for the media portal, Kumkum Bhagya will take a generational leap, and the producers have already begun casting new actors. The lead performers Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chapekar as well as the rest of the star cast will no longer be a part of the program.

The source said, "Leaps are important for the show to progress ahead. They also lend freshness and new twists to the story. The leap is likely to happen in November." For those who are unaware, the show recently made a 6-year jump, depicting Prachi (Mugdha) and Ranbir (Krishna) as parents of a 5-year-old girl.

Ekta Kapoor's production Kumkum Bhagya has been delighting the public for a while. In Kumkum Bhagya, Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chaphekar portray Prachi and Ranbir, and the viewers adore them. The show's captivating plot and on-screen chemistry immediately won over the viewers.

Since portraying the main characters, it has been more than four years. It will be interesting to watch which fresh faces the program will bring on and how the generational shift will affect the plot.
