Dus Ka Dum 3 to push to next year?

If sources are to be believed there is a strong possibility that Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum will be pushed to next year with season four of Kaun Banega Crorepati taking its place in September. Our source says, “Initially Sony was to bring the third season of DKD in the middle of this year and were contemplating launching KBC in December. However now the channel has a different strategy; it will first launch KBC with a new format, while DKD may come next year.” However there is still uncertainty about Aamir Khan hosting KBC’s next season. It is said KBC will follow Indian Idol 5. Meanwhile the channel is also planning to come up with season two of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, so there is no room for Dus Ka Dum this year. With DKD, the viewers are already aware about the format and though the second season had celebrities it got in less numbers than the first season. Salman Khan is also said to be keen in hosting the show in a different format. Channel officials remained unavailable for comment.
