Each and every scene takes a day to shoot: Rahul Lohani

Rahul Lohani, who was last seen in Balika Vadhu on Colors, is now seen in Gutur Gu season 2 on SAB TV as a male protagonist. He shares his eventful journey with Tellychakkar.com “I am very happy and excited to play the role of Ballu in the silent comedy show. It being of a different genre, it is very tough to enact. In the usual comedies, gags accompany the dialogues that we speak. This does tickle the audience, but in a silent comedy, there are only actions and expressions. Right now, I am watching excerpts of the last season to understand the concept well. I must say it’s a difficult job for which we take an entire day to shoot one scene,” he avers. He further goes on to say, “I am lucky to have such senior actors like KK Goswamiji, who is a bundle of talent and Bhavna Balasver who is quite a spontaneous actress by my side. On the whole, the entire experience of shooting is fun and I am getting to learn something every day.” Talking about his future plan, Rahul avers, “I would like to continue television as movies take up a lot of time and moreover I have my event company called Party Planet in which I am usually very busy.” We hereby wish Rahul all the best in his upcoming endevours.
