Eijaz, Neha and Vinay share their thoughts on Shubh Vivah going off-air

UTV Productions’ Shubh Vivah (Sony Entertainment Television) is all set to draw curtains on 29 July (2012). The show never really picked in terms of numbers and always languished at the TRP chart. There were also reports of its male lead, Eijaz Khan aka Amrit, never being happy with his role, which led to his early exit (in a death sequence). The soap will end with much drama wherein certain circumstances will lead to Saroj’s (Neha Janpandit) marriage with Vinod (Vinay Rohrra).

The soap will end with much drama wherein certain circumstances will lead to Saroj’s (Neha Janpandit) marriage with Vinod (Vinay Rohrra). Tellychakkar.com decided to talk to the actors from the soap and decided to seek their responses on Shubh Vivah going off-air. Eijaz was of the opinion, “A show ending depends on various factors. It does happen at times that a show fails to connect with the masses and that could have been the case with Shubh. But overall I had a nice experience being a part of it. I had a great rapport with everyone. Meenakshi ji (Verma) is an amazing actress, Vinay is like my brother, and of course, Rakesh Bedi is also a wonderful actor.” Neha Janpandit is of the opinion that every show has a destiny and what did not work in Shubh Vivah’s favour is its timing. “I will miss it terribly as I am very attached to the show. But as they say, all good things come to an end someday. It was a very powerful role and I am very thankful to my fans and the channel for the same.” On the other hand, Vinay Rohrra shared, “Poor time slot is one of the major reasons for the show not being able to connect with the audience. And moreover the show didn’t work out the way it was scripted. At times, when we hear the story we find it interesting but usually it doesn’t come out that way.” Well…at this point of time and judging the scenario, we can’t help but quote John Lennon’s famous words, “Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans.”
