MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor is a name that changed the face of Indian Television. From starting her career at the age of 17 as an intern to becoming the most successful producer, TV czarina Ekta Kapoor has come a long way and she recalls her earlier days after receiving 'Bemisaal Rishta' award during an award function. Though she started her career in the entertainment industry very early, her first successful show was the 1995 sitcom 'Hum Paanch'. Later in 2000, her show 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' became the most successful TV serial.
Ekta, who celebrated her birthday on 7th June has now dropped a fun video of her birthday celebrations that involve her family, friends and of course her son Ravie who stole the show. The little handsome guy is seen spending time with Ekta’s close friends like Krystle D’Souza, Anita Hassanandani, Mushtaq and others.

Ekta is rejoicing in the success of her co-production, Crew, a Rajesh A Krishnan-directed heist comedy starring Diljit Dosanjh, Tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon. Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, she most recently created LSD 2: Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2. She will now watch The Sabarmati Report, which stars Vikrant Massey.
