Acting is not an easy profession, to be in. Apart from working hard one also needs to maintain good looks.

On the International Women's Day we caught up with the beautiful and talented film and television actress Aparajita Ghosh Das over a quick chat to know what keeps her going and strong in this tough world.

She is not only a busy actress but also a wife to one of the most critically acclaimed actors (Ritwick Chakraborty) of Tollywood and a mother to a kid. So being a star, how does she manage to maintain all these?

Prompt came the humble reply, “I do not consider myself as a star. Just the way you are working, I am also working. Stardom is not permanent and it will fade away with time. I guess women are immensely talented at multi tasking. My mother too was a working lady who brought me up and also took care of other family members.” 

We were curious to know how she deals with her crisis and quizzed her about the same. She quipped, “I am a bit reserved and love to deal with issues on my own. However, when I am unable to arrive at any solution, I discuss it with Ritwick."

Talking about her biggest source of motivation, the actress said, “My family is my biggest inspiration. I get motivated by my husband, my son and my mom. They keep me going when I go through tough phases."

When asked if she is inspired by any lady in particular, the actress said that she gets inspired by the women folk of our country. 

She added, “Despite facing several hurdles both at home and at work they excel at everything, from managing household chores to perform at office. They all continue to inspire me a lot. To me every woman is an inspiration in her own way.”

When requested to give a message to our readers on the Women's Day, the lady signed off by saying, “Always be happy. Do not think that this is the only day for you in the year. Every day is a women's day for you all.” 

Aparajita has acted in flicks like Iti Srikanta, Baikta Byaktigoto and Raat Barota Panch and is currently seen in Zee Bangla's Kojagori.
