Everyone left me during my struggling days, says Amit Sadh

Talented and good looking Amit Sadh is back from the wilderness. Currently, he is wowing everyone with his performance as a journalist in the recently released movie, Maximum. Looking ahead, he is busy shooting for his upcoming project Kai Po Che, which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller, Three Mistakes of My Life, where he is playing one of the three leads. “I have received good reviews for my character in Maximum. It was also a great learning experience sharing screen space with someone like Naseer sahib (Naseerudin Shah). It is correctly said that being legend is not just about what you bring on screen but how you conduct yourself off screen as well,” shared Amit with Tellychakkar.com. He refused to get to into the argument of whether The Amazing Spiderman ate into the possible business of Maximum. “I am just an actor and my job is to do what the director wants me to do with the best of my ability. I am too small a fry to comment on these things and will look a fool even if I tried.” Amit who began as a TV actor (Guns and Roses, Kohinoor, Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss) quit the small screen space to hunt for greener pastures in cinema. “I am an actor and I realized that what I was doing on the idiot box was not acting but something else. I just did not want to buy a house and car. But the struggle was tough for five years. I sat at home staring at walls. I even went to US to study the craft. After giving dozen of auditions, finally I got the above breaks; maybe I have got better with time. ” So how was the struggle? “It was tough for everybody left me, but I took this rejection positively and went into a shell thinking that it is important to be alone to discover yourself.” What went wrong with your live-in relationship with Neeru Bajwa? “Change is inevitable. When weather changes people change. We separated like many couples do. There is no animosity between us. We had some very good years together and I am still very fond of her.” Looking ahead, Amit wants to do good stories. “My real aim is to make the public forget the real Amit Sadh when they see me on screen.” Well said, Amit.
