Excited to work with Erica and Parth: Siddharth Shivpuri

MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been in the news lately for all the developments on- and off-screen. 

TellyChakkar was the first to report about Varun Toorkey entering the show and having a love angle with Prerna (Read here: It’s not Namik Paul but THIS actor who will enter Kasautii Zindagi Kay2?) 

 

Now, the latest update is that despite being in discussions for a long time, Varun’s entry in the show did not materialize. Hence, the makers have zeroed in on Siddharth Shivpuri for the meaty character. 

We contacted Siddharth, who confirmed the news and said, 'I geel enthralled to be back with Balaji after Naagin. I had seen Kasautii Zindagii Kay when I was quite young, and now, it’s a great feeling to be a part of season 2 of the same show.' 

We quizzed him about his role in the show, to which he said, 'My character will be called Vikrant. It is a very layered character. I’m excited to be a part of the show and work with Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan. Vikrant will have a past connection with Prerna and the Basus.'
