EXCLUSIVE! Ajinkya Joshi aka Milind from Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali on how challenging it is to play a positive character: The actor has to feel nice to make sure he is sending good vibes to viewers via his character

MUMBAI: Star Plus show Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali is working wonders on the small screen.

The show has garnered immense praises from fans for its excellent storyline and stellar performances given by the star cast. 

Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali has witnessed several twists and turns in the story that have kept the viewers hooked to the show.

We all know how each character on the show has evolved with time, and the audiences are loving the changes taking place. 

While some characters are negative, others are positive, and viewers have seen how they are doing total justice to their roles. 

Milind's character has brought only positivity to the show. 

The character is played by actor Ajinkya Joshi. He is seen as Amruta and Mansi's father and Sulochana's husband. 

While a negative character requires extra effort to make it more impactful, an actor needs to put in equal effort to play a positive character too

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Ajinkya was asked whether he found his character Milind challenging as an actor. 

He said, ''It is definitely challenging. I feel that the actor should have that kind of a feeling from within while he/she is performing. You need to bring that kind of positivity within yourself first to portray the same on-screen. Only then, the character will be impactful. The actor should have the feel at the right moment, which will make that scene perfect.''

Further, on being asked how the actors chill on the set after delivering some intense scenes, Ajinkya said, ''The intense atmosphere is created on the set during such scenes and that is a good sign. Everyone is busy with their respective scenes, including the crew members. We are informed by the director about such scenes beforehand, which keeps everyone alert. This also reminds us that we all have to give our best for it.''

The actor further revealed how he relaxes after giving an intense scene and said, ''I love listening to classical songs, so I make it a point to listen to music and it helps me come out of that zone.''

The show is based on Star Maa's Telugu series Gorintaku and produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films.  

Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali stars Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar in the lead roles.
