MUMBAI: Alpana Buch has become a household name for her character Leela Shah in Star Plus' popular drama series Anupamaa.
The actress is seen playing Anupamaa's ex-mother-in-law and Vanraj's mother in the show.
Just like Rupali Ganguly, Alpana's character is extremely pivotal in the show.
We all know that Alpana's character has a lot of shades which proves that Leela's character is extremely layered.
With the recent track focusing on Toshu's infidelity, the viewers have once again got to see a different side of Leela which not many have liked.

Shedding some light on the same, Alpana Buch had some interesting insights to share about her shooting with child actors and much more in an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar.
How is the experience of shooting with a child actor who plays Aarya's role in the show?
Arya is like an angel who has come on our set. She gels along with everyone and never cries. By God's grace, we have got a chance to work with such an angelic kid. We have never heard her crying. Actors do get irritated when kids don't cooperate. We all love her so much. All of us have created a baby bank for her. I got all the necessary things like shampoo, oil, soaps and everything for her. Nidhi bought some stuff for her and even Sudhanshu got cute clothes for the cutie. We are all enjoying shooting with the baby. There is a different kind of vibe on the set. She is now trying to say something, it seems she will soon start talking just like Anupamaa's long monologues.
What about Asmi Deo who plays Choti Anu?
We have very less scenes with Asmi as she is mostly shooting with the Kapadia family. Whenever she comes to the Shah house, we have fun together.
Apart from these two Muskan Bamne who plays your granddaughter in the show has also grown up. What do you have to say about her?
She is a very good actor. Apart from her character, her looks are changed. Muskan is carrying herself very well in the show. I would like to say one thing that Muskan remains very quiet on the set. She would only talk if someone asks her something. But she is an extremely well-mannered kid. It has been great shooting with her.
