EXCLUSIVE! Dev Joshi on rejecting web-shows: I was offered many web series but some roles were not matching my criteria

MUMBAI: Baalveer Returns was one of the most popular TV shows in the telly world.

The fantasy-fiction drama series had worked wonders ever since the beginning.

Popular child artist and now a grown-up, Dev Joshi reprised the role of Baalveer in the second season, leaving the viewers delighted with his presence on the show.

Well, we have seen Dev in different avatars on Baalveer Returns.

With Baalveer Returns going off-air a few months ago, the diehard fans of Dev are eagerly waiting to see him back on the small screens soon.

While web shows are quite in trend these days, many TV actors are also trying their hands at the same.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Dev opened up on the same.

On being asked if he would love to star in a web show, Dev said, ''Yes, I would definitely love to do a web show. In fact, I was offered many web shows which are currently doing extremely well on the digital platforms. However, I didn't accept the offers as some of the characters were not matching my criteria.''

He further added, ''There are many shows which have clean character and content and some have some great message for the society. I would love to play such roles.''

Dev is one such actor who has always chosen quality over quantity.
