The actress is currently seen in Sony SAB's Shubh Laabh. The show is managing to strike the right chord with the viewers.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Geetanjali who spoke about her character and much more.

Working with a talented bunch of actors, there must be times when there might be differences of opinion while performing certain scenes. How do you handle such a situation?

When there are many creative people under the same roof, differences are bound to crop up. But the good thing is, creative people are also a very flexible lot to be around. We might disagree but when it’s the director’s call, everyone has to listen. It’s an unwritten protocol of every set. The director has the last say. In this industry, the stubborn lot doesn’t make it far. That’s the truth.

Television has changed a lot in terms of content, and Shubh Labh is a perfect example as it is way beyond the saas-bahu drama. What are your views on this? One thing you like and dislike about TV.

I am proud of Shubh Laabh as a show. It’s a game-changer for TV because of its different content. It’s definitely a path-breaking concept against all the typical shows around. TV is my comfort zone. Only the ones who are mentally strong can face the daily grind of a daily soap. One thing I wish would change is the long shifts and 3-month wait for the first cheque.

A piece of advice you would love to give all the women out there who are going through the same situation as Savita.

To all the women who are in the same shoes as Savita, do not be disheartened with your life. The strength lies within you to be whatever you want and do.
