MUMBAI: Shiny Doshi is one of the most loved actresses on television today.

While she has been most loved for what she brings to the table with her stint on varied television shows, her performance is Star Plus’ Pandya Store has made a special place in the hearts of the fans. Off late, a lot of actresses take to social media to pose in some very fashionable monokini and bikini looks and somewhere down the line, they have to bear the brunt of making a special place in the hearts of the audience through their on-screen characters.

We connected with Shiny to know her point of view as fans often tend to pass derogatory remarks on social media.

Shiny mentioned, “Well, I personally have never come across something like this and never have I been body shamed. Infact, fans who follow me exclaim - ‘Dhara aise bhi dikh sakti hai?!’ (laughs). However, I do get comments on how ethnic wear suits me the best as compared to western outfits!”
