Well, the current track has been a major highlight for Vikram on his wish to sell Swaran Ghar and solve their financial issues, we got in touch with Vikram aka Rohit Choudhary to know his reaction to the trolls, his character and more, check out what he had to reveal:
Vikram has been a major target of the audiences, what was your reaction?
I feel it is justified, there were some situations where it did go for the negative shade, but he is actually tensed about his mother, property and the work pressure that he is going through. His single motive has been that sell Swaran Ghar to get done with all the problems that they are facing. Once they would have money for the solution to all their problems. I was aware that when I signed the character I would receive harsh reactions to it.
Vikram stands out in the show as the character, What are you enjoy with the character?
It does, thanks to the writers. I am enjoying being a part of the show, I get to put forth a new perspective on the story and a message for all. When Swaran kicks her sons, there is a scene where Vikram tells her that if she had daughters would do the same to them. Would you even ask for the same things that you are expecting from us? Mummy says that all we ask for is the phone call, but I say that is it just the call, you also want us to be there leaving everything. I do see the character is taken to the negative shade but there are scenes that justify his concern too. I really enjoy some scenes where I get a chance to show the perspective of the young generation. I only perceive it as a character and do not take it personally. I do get alot of hate comments, people abuse me in the comment section, I have to report them. When I am performing, I always think that this is a point of view too and I am getting to portray it. Yug often tells me how do you do it with such conviction, and justify it. I feel this is the truth, if the story was from the kid's point of view then the mother would have been portrayed negatively. I am really enjoying the track. I am loving every scene that I do, with Ajit Lamba as well, Vikram is sorted as a person, so whenever we get the script I do improvise with it to portray it more convincingly.
How has it been staying away from home and working in Chandigarh?
I have been great, and it has been good while working in Chandigarh, I am loving it here, there is no traffic, and it is a new location and new people. The vibe is amazing on the sets so yes, working here is the same.
