What’s next for you, what are the new things that you are working on ?
There are things in the pipeline, some projects are coming up but I can’t talk about them until they are confirmed or finalised. I am going to work on my script. There’s a script that I have written. My entire family is involved in this business, all of them are writers and I want to finish that script. I might take a holiday, rewind and come back. Shows and projects that I have worked on whether on OTT or movies are coming out now, so excited about that. But definitely, would have loved it if this had run longer.
What would you say you loved about your character and what are you feeling right now?
This was total deadly character and I wish I could have played it more. It was quite an extreme role, one of the most extremes that I have played in Indian television. I had never done anything like it, on television atleast. Yes, I am going to miss it because it had a different flavor; it had terror, and sometimes in the middle of the most intense scenes, he would do something comical. I really enjoyed myself when I was doing this character, but things do come to an end. Daily soaps can be tiring sometimes, they definitely take a toll, because you want to give your hundred percent and I have done everything, like being in the Akhada. Hence, I'm a little overwhelmed but grateful.
What would you like to say to your fans right now?
I have received a lot of love and so many messages about how they have wanted to see me in this role for a long time. You have been very appreciative of everything I have done, and I know that some roles before this were positive, but this was me coming back to base and I am grateful for all the love.
