EXCLUSIVE! Kaveri Priyam talks about Navratri track in Star Plus' Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, shares she would love to play dandiya in real life too this year and much more

Kaveri Priyam

MUMBAI: After wowing the viewers with her stellar performances in shows like Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, Ziddi Dil Maane Na, Dil Diyaan Gallan, and many others, actress Kaveri Priyam is once again back with her latest show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

The actress joined the popular show on Star Plus a few months ago and ever since then, she is impressing the viewers. Kaveri plays the role of Aashika in the show and her character is shown negative.

Well, we have seen Kaveri playing a negative role in a few of her previous projects too but this one is just amazing.

The stunning diva is nailing her role as Aashika who was Rajat aka Hitesh Bharadwaj's ex-wife and is paired opposite actor Ankit Arora who plays the character of Arsh.

It's just been a few months since Kaveri joined the show and the storyline has turned out to be quite interesting.

In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Kaveri spoke about her character, taking up the show, Navratri celebrations and much more.

Since the show is currently witnessing the Navratri Celebration track, we asked Kaveri about her experience of shooting for the same, she said, ''Shooting for the Navratri sequence was very good because they have styled me in a very different way. The look was different and very refreshing. I really liked my look and outfit. The sequence was also very nice where my son was also involved along with the family.''

Shedding light on the Navratri sequence in the ongoing track, Kaveri said,  ''The sequence shows that Aashika gets insecure seeing Rajat all happy with Savi. And here Arsh is not getting married to her. The only thing left with Aashika is her son as her daughter is now with Rajat. So, she is very possessive about her son.''

When asked about how excited she is about the upcoming festive season, Kaveri said, ''I am very excited about Navratri. I have already shot for the festive track in the show where I have played dandiya. So, now I am excited to play dandiya in my real life as well. I will go to some pandal and play dandiya this time for sure.''

Well, it would be great to see what lies ahead in the upcoming track of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
