MUMBAI: Kunal Karan Kapoor made a smashing comeback with SAB TV's show Ziddi Dil Maane Na.
The talented actor is portraying the role of Sid Ganju in the show.
Kunal's character is extremely different from what we have seen him doing before.
The viewers are already in love with the actor's stellar performance.
Also, Kunal's pairing with co-star Dilot Chhabra has become quite popular.
Although their love story has not started yet viewers are looking forward to seeing these on-screen couple's romance.
In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Kunal got candid about the show and much more.
The viewers love you as Sid. What does it feel like? They are eager to watch the upcoming episodes with the romance track between Sanju and you. Your take on it.
There is a lot of excruciating hard work from an entire team that goes into making a character and obviously, it’s a great feeling for the entire team when viewers appreciate that hard work. It’s an impetus to do better. Sanju and sid’s romance is still in nascent stages and Sid has a lot to learn and unlearn.
If given a chance would you like to change anything about Sid?
Sid is almost a rebel without a cause in his own world and that’s what makes him interesting, his journey. He may come across as frivolous but that’s his journey. I would not change anything about him as a character.
Which is your favourite character from the show?
I love them all but Bala and Kaveri are my favourites as currently, we are spending a lot of working hours together. Prathamesh and Chitra are a bundle of positive energy on set and their hard work is evident in their performance. The entire cast is a delight to work with.
Kunal also got candid about a lot more things apart from his acting career.
The actor revealed that Ashnoor Kaur is his favourite co-star of all the actors he has worked with so far. The duo was seen together in Naa Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha. The viewers are still in love with the beautiful camaraderie of Ashnoor and Kunal.
Lastly, Kunal also revealed that he is quite keen on being behind the camera and if not an actor he would have been a cinematographer and would probably direct a web show if got a chance.
Kunal has previously done shows like Pratigya season 1, Rishton Se Badi Pratha, Maayka, Left Right Left, Woh Apna Sa among others.
He has also done web shows like The Raikar Case which was released last year.
