MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's reality show titled “Lock Upp,” where 17 contestants will be locked in jail, play the game, and fight for getting bail to survive, was launched on MX Player and Alt Balaji.
The audience has given it a thumbs-up.
Kangana Ranaut will be making her OTT debut with the show as the host where she will be guiding the contestants.
The entire concept is a setup in jail.
The show has done well in its first week, and the audience has loved it.
The weekend, the first elimination of the show happened where Chakrapani Maharaj was eliminated.

Post his eviction, TellyChakkar got in touch with Chakrapani Maharaj and asked him about his close friends and the villain of the house.
Whom are you close to in the house and whom would you want to meet outside?
Everyone was close to me and I kept a balance of calmness and positivity around. That’s why everyone was good to me. When someone did try to abuse, I tried to calm them down and maintained peace in the house.
Who do you think is the villain in the house and is spreading negativity?
Well, I think it got to be Munawar Faruqui as he is the one who is spreading a lot of negativity in the house and is playing a cunning game.
Post Lock Upp, if you’re offered Bigg Boss, will you take up the show?
I don’t know. Let’s see when it's offered to me. I shall see then as it is too early to comment on it.
What do you think went wrong in your game that the audience eliminated you?
Nothing went wrong. I didn’t appeal for votes and nominated myself. That’s why the audience didn’t save me.
