MUMBAI: Debattama Saha has left netizens spellbound with her amazing performance in the show Zee TV serial Mithai. She has made her name in the Bengali and Hindi cinema industries too.

She began her career with the Colors Bangla program E Amar Gurudakshina. Most importantly, Debattama made her debut in the Hindi television show Ishaaron Ishaaron Mein aired on Sony TV.

Later on, she played the lead role of Anokhi Bhalla in the Star Plus series Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani opposite Karanvir Sharma.

Your most weird or useless talent?

I can forget about everything, be it food or water and just sleep the whole day because after going to sleep I don’t feel like waking up again. If I’m laying down, I’ll go to sleep. So yes, I can sleep for 24 hours.

What is the weirdest nickname you’ve got?

So I’m from Silchar, Assam. All the schoolmates knew what my nickname is. My nickname is Mishti. However, my family members call me Mistu. So my friends used to call me Mistu Mistan Bhandaar. There’s also Debu and Misti Dahi, which are still okay, but not Mistan Bhandaar.

Which is that one body part that you think you can survive without?

I don’t think. I can’t survive without anything but I’ll say extra body fats.

How much cash do you have right now in your wallet?

Maybe a thousand rupees.

A compliment you received that sounds like an insult to you?

You have round face so you look very cute. I didn’t know if that was a compliment because it made me think that I’m getting fat.

A fictional character that you think would be boring in real life?

I can’t think of anyone boring because I'm excited to meet anyone. Maybe, they might get bored of me.

Not a single one.
