EXCLUSIVE! A negative character gives more room for experiment, Ankit Gulati on his character Vedant in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali

The lion is back for revenge from Raghav

MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali is currently ruling several hearts. The show has become everyone's favourite in no time. South actors Sai Ketan Rao and Shivangi Khedkar are playing the lead roles of Raghav and Pallavi respectively in Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali.

In an exclusive chat with Ankit Gulati aka Vedant, we asked him about his character and his journey in the show, "Vedant and Ankit are totally opposite in real life. Vedant's return is to destroy Raghav's family and devastate him emotionally. I didn't take a lot of time in getting into the skin of Vedant as I have done a negative role earlier."

"I am enjoying the character. It gives me more room for experiment. Previously, the look was in disguise and now he is completely out, Lion aka Vedant has a more stylish look and is not like those contemporary negative roles," he added.

Ankit hints there is more to unveil as Lion is surely going to strike back at Raghav. It will be interesting to see how the elements of enmity will bring major twists to the show.
